Bihar Finance Service Association (BFSA) is an organization of the serving officers of the Bihar Finance Service. However it also concerns and bothers about the superannuated officers and believes in perpetual fraternity with them. On specific occasion they are invited and honoured by the association to consolidate the emotional bond. The genesis of this association may be traced in the birth of this cadre on 1st July 1944.The association got registered on 7th November 2017 under the Societies Registration Act 21, 1860 having registration number S000589/2017-18.The 32nd working committee of the association has been constituted on 29.08.2021 by the general body comprising the members of the cadre through secret voting, following the democratic norms. By virtue of birth in the cadre, officers become member of the Bihar Finance Service Association. The office of the BFSA is situated at Veerchand Patel Path, Patna 800001.

The association works through a working committee under the leadership of the President assisted by the Executive Committee inter alia divisional Additional Commissioner (Admin) as ex. Officio members and nominated members. The working committee consists of the President, Vice President, General Secretary, Treasurer and five Joint Secretaries and all are elected members separately by the general body. The whole association works under the auspices of the doyen officers of the department working as patrons.
